HOMECOMING PREGAME PLAYLIST: WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TUNE?

As Memorial High School welcomes us back, students & staff here at Memorial High School are eager to come together and prepare to celebrate the start of a new school year with our annual homecoming dance! This semi-formal dance provides an opportunity for students to display their Titan pride, take a break from reality, and reconnect with friends to create unforgettable memories.
Now, homecoming is definitely amazing, but everyone agrees that it's the getting ready part that truly sets the stage for an unforgettable night. The anticipation, excitement, and preparation leading up to homecoming create memories that last a lifetime. From finding the perfect attire, to getting ready with some tunes, prepping for homecoming really adds that extra touch of magic to make the night truly amazing.
Getting ready for an unforgettable night of celebrating always calls for a hype playlist as listening to those songs help us unwind and get ready to have an amazing night, so I asked several students who will be attending this years homecoming dance what songs they will be listening to in order to get them thrilled for the big night.
Fellow 11th grade student Demaria Mays says, before going somewhere she’ll listen to “Freezestyle pt.2” by Supahbadd , as it gets her woken up, hyped, and ready, so listening to these before homecoming are a must. Jocelyn Villarreal, an 11th grader says she enjoys listening to “Baby I” by Ariana Grande and “Vulture Island” by Rob49 because they boost her confidence and get her pumped for an amazing night ahead! Junior, Jazzi Taylor enjoys jamming to “The Rules” by ReUp Reedy because it lifts her spirits and gets her turnt and ready to have a great time. Lastly, we have Chrianna Thomas who said she likes listening to “Mama” by Rob49 and “I Believe” because they give her an exhilarating feeling and make her feel super excited about going out. It's amazing how music can crank up our anticipation and set the perfect mood for an unforgettable experience!
